DARYL GRIFFITH
MUSIC, LYRICS & BOOK

Daryl Griffith’s music career spans many genres. In theatre, he orchestrated and conducted Matthew Bourne's Cinderella in London’s West End Piccadilly Theatre, acting as musical director and conductor when the show transferred to the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles. Daryl also conducted Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake at the Piccadilly Theatre and on its UK tour, serving as orchestration consultant for the Broadway production.

Trained at the Royal College of Music and formerly music director and principal conductor for London City Ballet as well as principal pianist and conductor for English National Ballet, Daryl has written reduced orchestrations of ballets which have been performed worldwide. 

On the TV and film side, he has orchestrated many projects including “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”, “Young Visiters” (BAFTA winner), “Prime Suspect” (BAFTA winner) and “Arabian Nights”. He is also a prolific composer of production music used globally in a wide range of programmes including a recent “Star Wars” trailer, “Absolutely Fabulous – The Movie”, ”The Apprentice” and “Sex & the City”. Previously composing for EMI/Sony ATV, he is now co-owner and creative director of production music catalogue 2nd Foundation Music.

BRADLEY FARMER
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Film & TV music editor and composer Bradley Farmer has been working with Daryl Griffith since 2006. He has been involved in numerous prestigious and wide-ranging projects for Paramount, Disney, Amazon, Warner Bros, Netflix and more.

Recent credits include the Oscar Nominated “Baby Driver”, for which Bradley was MPSE-nominated, BAFTA-winning BBC series “The Hunt”, Oscar-nominated Disney feature film “Cinderella”, the Paramount Animation "Wonder Park", New Emmy-nominated Netflix Documentary "Our Planet", and the ground-breaking Amazon spectacle "The Aeronauts".

Alongside Daryl, Bradley is co-owner of production music catalogue 2nd Foundation Music, for which he also acts as production director. Additionally, Bradley works closely with Oscar-winning composer Steven Price (“Gravity”, “American Assassin”, “Suicide Squad”), and is regularly involved in recording and dubbing sessions in the UK, LA, and around the world.

JAMES TAYLOR

Part of the creative team, James Taylor recently worked on the new live movie adaptation of “CATS” (directed by Tom Hooper) and Netlix's new musical-based film "Jingle Jangle" as On-Set Music Supervisor. Previously, he worked on Disney's 2019 live-action movie, "Aladdin" and Danny Boyle’s “Yesterday” (2019).

James has acted as musical director for a range of productions across many London theatres including: The Color Purple in Concert, Cadogan Hall; the UK première of DISASTER The Musical, Charing Cross; Jack and the Beanstalk, Lyric Hammersmith; Jest End, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Waterloo East; West End Up Close with Julie Atherton and West End Up Close with Jodie Jacobs, HoSB; Evelyn Hoskins - There Was a Little Girl, Battersea Barge; Zedel Follies and Sir John Standing Swings Cole Porter, Crazy Coqs.

Additionally, James has worked as children’s vocal coach for Disney’s live-action “Beauty & The Beast” and is a tutor at The Urdang Academy, LAMDA & ArtsEd. James trained at the University of Surrey (BMus Tonmeister) and at LAMDA (PGDip Musical Direction & Vocal Coaching).
